Here’s a little snippet into the life of Tia Hamilton and how she is taking the world by storm.

She was born in Brooklyn New York but while young her and her family moved to Baltimore and made it home. People always end up right where they belong and this situation is no different. One of the first questions that we got to ask her was when she fell in love with Hip Hop she responds “ my love affair with hip-hop begin when I was a kid. MC light, Queen Latifah, and Salt and Peppa were blowing up. I knew every song they made and bought every album. I also realize the power that came with Hip Hop when the government tried to stop the path for groups and voices of NWA, Public Enemy, and KRS one just to name a few”.

We definitely can relate to the artist that she names. Many of us probably have her own nostalgic moments of these artist and other artists that were out at the same time and that have come to be. We all Cano that really say that hip-hop phone is definitely powerful. We see in our communities, we see it in what people wear where they go and what activities they participating in we definitely can relate to the artist that she names. We all can easily agree that the platform of Hip Hop is definitely powerful.
